For a dentist visit, I called ahead to the office, provided my insurance information and asked if I was covered. Was told that I was, but after the visit the receptionist tells me that he made a mistake, that I'm not actually covered and that I owe them $400.

Unfortunately there isn't any paper evidence of the receptionist telling me I'm covered.

Really pissed off right now and wondering if there's any way I can recoup my losses.
