I am not sure if this post is one that is overdone but I got cold-called from a financial planner and I have gone through the motions and sat down with them. They are recommending that I buy supplemental life insurance and a couple of other things.
Long story short is they want a 3% fee. I am a total newbie to this I am not sure what the pros and cons are of using a financial planner, or what my options are for myself to try and get any of this stuff done. Honestly, any and all help will be great, even if its criticism. Thank you, looking forward to your responses.
