Now I know my situation isn't as dire as it could be, but we're all here to get ahead in life financially.
I make 40k a year before tax and after taxes and everything, it's like 24k-26k (the way the pension plan works at this job).
I find myself looking at higher paying jobs and they all require some sort of post secondary education/training. I only have 4 years education in Psychology in an university and I dropped out in my last semester because I didn't think it could benefit me.
I don't have any debt, I live quote frugally, I'm able to save like $1300 a month and that goes into my investments. I have around 24k saved in my investments, although some of it is tied up in some stocks that aren't doing well right now.
So that is my situation right now. I'm not doing terrible, no debt, some savings in investments, minimally decent job with a pension. I'm surviving, but I'm not thriving.
What should I focus on to get ahead and be secure and even excel financially?
Thank you all. 🙏
