I've had access to the internet my entire life, which means that, like pretty much every other adult, I've had limitless access to 99% of the world's information for free. There's even projects like Gutenberg and Reddit to in some way curate that information, and places to get free world class college courses. Nevertheless, I barely use it, mostly using it for memes and video game lore and watching anime and occasionally YouTube.
How can I use the Internet more effectively, so my browsing is more focused and informative, and brings me more joy and connectedness to the world around me?
