I recently got a much better paying job. There's some obvious steps we're taking- paying off debt, planning for retirement, we're going to build our next house and plan for our future there, so we're putting a lot of thought into the plan.. any other tips or strategies for using our increased earnings wisely? I've been playing with, like, buying a much better quality wardrobe that will last a lot longer (have been poking around r/buyitforlife). Open to suggestions. The goal is to get a lot of things out of the way now and not worry about them later, and to do away with excess.
