There's still certain items I get from other locations but my SO and I are saving money with grocery pickup from Walmart. We both work odd schedules so being able to pick up my order has also saved us time.
Before using pickup, we would just go to the grocery store and drop $150 and then feel like at the end of the week that we had no food. We would get tons of food bc I don't really like grocery shopping. I had hoped by getting a lot at one time we would be good for the month. Not the case. I guess we tended to go through more food that way.
There's a minimum order requirement of $30. I try to stay around $30-$40 per order. This has saved us money. I can actually plan meals for a few days then make another order when I'm ready. Sometimes I'll spend more when getting other items like cat food or detergent etc but majority of the time we stick to just under $40.
