This is the second time at checkout I needed to price match. They are sneaky! The first time was buying a buzzer to cut my hubby's hair. The price on the shelf was on sale for 21. When I rang it up it rang up for 23 (22.99). So i used their app to look it up and on the target app it was on sale for 18 dollars! Y'all. This time I was getting diapers. The shelf said 25.99. I rang it up at self checkout and halfway through paying i saw it said 29.79 (after tax). I was thinking woah. Nope. I ripped my target debit out of the machine and looked on the app and it said 25.99. The guy comes over and he corrects the scanned price (27.99) to the listed and shelf price.
This is 2 times in my last 2 shopping trips. Each time in self checkout.. Target is being sneaky. So word to the wise.. check the target app and make sure the scanned price lines up with the shelf or target app price.
