I am moving to philadelphia (inner city) and need some advice. Getting the Keys on the 3rd of july. Have NO furniture, want to stock the entire 1br appt so I am willing to rent uhaul/pay mover or unloader. I prefer good used furniture to new ikea furniture. I want to completely stock the house in 1 day (living derelict would not be preferd)
On July 04 some thrift shops are offering great sales (i will do my shopping on the 4th/5th). I am going to pick it up and move on the 6th.
i currently live about 35 miles away and have thrift shops here. i am willing to pay an unloader, and rent a uhaul.
Should i
A) go to philadelphia and see if any thriftshops do free/cheap furniture drop off
B) buy from local thrift shops and move via uhaul?
