I am a 20 year old looking for some help budgeting and investing. A friend of mine from high school recently reached out and told me about his internship at Northwestern Mutual and wanted to know if I’d like to take a call with him and a supervisor to see if I’d like any of their services.

Is this a legitimate financial institution? Should I consider going with them for help or am I being biased by wanting to help my friend out in his new business venture?
