Hi everyone!
Analyzing my budget I learned that I have been spending ~$800/month on groceries. I know, INSANE. I live in the nyc area and have preteen kids, so a lot of that grocery budget goes to snacks and ready-to-eat things that kids consume mountains of.
Being in nyc means space is an issue for storing items in bulk, but after looking through older posts here I saw various tips from you all regarding gas, and rotisserie chickens which apparently have a cult following! I went ahead and signed up for the basic membership. Here are my questions:
-What are the things you buy most often from Costco? Where are the savings best found?
-What’s your process for planning what you will buy and staying on budget?
-They tried to sell me the executive membership but I was unsure about whether it’s worth it - anyone here have one and find it to be worthwhile?
-Any other tips or tricks for getting the most out of my membership while saving on space at home!
Thanks as always! r/frugal is my favorite sub, you guys rock!
