Bucket and sponge instead of mop? Feather duster? Push vacuum? Any of these, or others, still viable cleaning methods?
How can I avoid wads and wads of paper towel waste? Did people just use clothes and then wash them? Did they wash them with their clothes, with towels, or on their own?
Been thinking I'd rather just clean the floors with a large sponge instead of a mop. Sponges are cheaper and my rinky-dinky Swiffer mop feels cheap and overpriced.
I've also heard that all you really need is vinegar, bleach, ammonia, dish soap, and baking soda to clean a house, and not the tons of different chemicals we have nowadays. Is this true? I don't mind a bit of elbow grease.
What methods do you use to clean? How do you clean your place?
