Hi!I’m considering making a catio/cat cage using boltless rack so I’m wondering if I can use stains on HDF board...?I saw a video where they said penetrating stains might cause HDF to swell because it’s made of wood particles that were glued together. 😕I’m looking at Minwax’s pre-stain wood conditioner, stain, and polyurethane.
