Need to get serious about my budget.
25yo Licensed vet tech, full time. Part time student.
Income: $800-$900 biweekly
Lyft and petsitting earnings ~$200/monthly (not factored into budget, used as spending money)
Roomate pays me:$360 and $80 cable bill
Total income: $1960/month
Rent: $675 monthly.
Car: $248 (recently refinanced)
Insurance: $90.
Utilitues:$140
Student loan: $62
Subscriptions: $15,$35,$16,$22 =$88 total
(Spotify, onstar, Netflix, gym respectively) Food/gas:~$500/monthly
Sprint $117
Total expenses: $1908/month
$28k student loan debt
$13k owed on car (6yr loan 5.9% interest, recently refinanced) $385 CC debt
$900 in savings
$1200 invested (Acorns)
No idea what's in my 401k.
It's time to grow up and get serious about my money. I'd appreciate any and all recommendations.
