My parked car was hit and the person who hit my car filed a police report and left me his insurance and DL info. So I've been working with his insurance agency (Allstate), and they towed my car to their preferred mechanic. Now their mechanic is giving me repair estimates that are pushing $6000. He says it is over the threshold limit in what their insurance can afford and so they are going to talk to Allstate to see what they can do. I don't have collision insurance. What can I do in the mean time to possibly have my repairs covered? This is all in WA state. Thanks for reading.
