I accidentally left my ex-husband as a "user" on an empty checking account. I mistakenly assumed no damage could be done with a $0 checking account. That was very silly in hindsight. It got levied for $4k by AZDOR (Arizona Department of Revenue) recently. I paid it, as I knew he wouldn't. Is there anything I can do to re-coup that money?
I apologize if I'm in the wrong subreddit, I'd tried posted to /r/legaladvice which is probably more appropriate, but one of the mods removed it for not posting my area (I repeatedly said AZDOR). Then swore at me for using "hillbilly slang" for saying "y'all". I updated my message to include what AZDOR means and remove the "hillbilly slang". I'm just trying to get help :(
