I've been a homeowner for less than a year and have never dealt with anything like this before.
Are just pictures of stuff being wet going to be good enough?
My wife and I are both missing work today. Can those missed hours be claimed?
Should I let my homeowners insurance know even if I don't intend to make a claim?
What else do I need to do and how else might I get screwed over in this whole situation?
I'm really bummed out. I love my freaking basement and now it's all messed up. I want to cry but then I'd just have more fucking water to clean up.
