I’m an undergraduate student (21) with a good amount of money saved up (CAD $30,000) and sitting in my savings (TFSA/esavings). It’s been sitting there for a while now and I want to do something with it as I don’t see myself purchasing much right now (I work and that covers my expenses; no debt).
Does anyone have any recommendations? I heard there are mutual funds, GICs, stocks and all but I’m unsure what may be the best option short term (1-5 years). I want it to be more hands off for me (I don’t know economics well) but also willing to accept some risk. I’ve been to my bank and they showed me some options but I am still unclear what the best option may be for someone in my situation. Thanks!!
