First of all, I know I'm a **total idiot** for doing this, but the website looked "government-esque" and I absentmindedly gave away my credit card information to them.
I tried to renew my US driver's license online (I live abroad and needed it sent to a parent's house), so I searched for "NY renew license" and followed the first Google result. It directed me to https://discoverdrivinginfo.org/index.html, a super sketchy website that offers driving guides. Long story short, they charged my card $4 for a PDF, which I emailed them about for a refund. Aside from disputing the charge with my CC company (if they refuse the refund), how worried should I be? Should I cancel the credit card? I'm wondering what my next course of action should be.
Incidentally, I found the legit ".gov" site and got my license renewed, but this just took one problem and replaced it with another.
