http://bit.ly/2XUv5Yf green wire doesn't seem to actually attach to anything except the round metal part at the top.I removed the light fixture, and everything was fine. I left for 5 minutes, came back, and the power on the side of the house where the light is was out. I noticed that the ends of the loose black and white wires hanging from the ceiling just so happened to be touching each other. I don't know anything about wiring/lighting, but I'm guessing perhaps the ends of the two wires moved to touch each other while I was gone. Like they moved into their natural position, which just happened to be them touching each other, and this caused the outage. But again, that's just a guess. Could this be possible? All help is greatly appreciated. It could also be a coincidence that it went out after removing the fixture, but I doubt it.Thank you! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2PE0V8R
