I'm installing a new hanging toilet and I can't seem to stop it from leaking.First I though that it was leaking due to the fact that the pipes where to short, but after 3 tries and having opinions from others it doesn't seem to be the length of the pipes. So the next thing I did to check where it was leaking was take the toilet off the wall, take the connecting pipes and fill them up watertight on one side and connect them to the toilet on the other side and then fill the toilet with water to check if it was leaking. Which it was sure enough. My set-up looked like this :testing set-upit was leaking from the bottom of the draining pipe, it seemed to come out of the rubber cuff. I checked the cuff and didn't see any damage but to be sure I also tried another cuff with the same result. The cuffs used looked like this (the black one is original and the white one is an aftermarket one):aftermarket oneoriginal oneThe toilet looks like this :toilet back viewafter closer inspection it doesn't seem to be smooth at the bottom but looks likw this :Bumps at the bottom of the drain connectionCould this be the reason why my toilet is leaking? And if so how can I solve this in the best way? Thanks a lot! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2VJ8OiK
