As someone that doesn't consume large quantities of bread I was regularly finding myself with stale bread by the time I got near the end of the bag or worse finding the bread had gone moldy. So for a while now I've been freezing bread and hamburger rolls in packages that only held a meals worth or maybe a days worth. And I'll never go back.

It takes about 10 minutes for individual servings to defrost on your counter, but only a couple minutes in a toaster oven. And once defrosted it's as fresh as if it was from a newly opened bag.

Just thought I'd share for anyone else that doesn't go through bread quickly that may find this useful.
