Hey DIYers,Just run into a bit of a problem and need some advice. I'm trying to put up an awning. Now I'm fixing it to the concrete lintel above my french doors. Marked it up, drilling some pilot holes - so far so good. Then moved on to drilling the big holes for the 14mm anchor bolts. 2 of them no problems - but the other two I've run into decent sized chunks of steel, presumably for reinforcing the concrete.I was hoping by drilling the pilot holes first I'd avoid this because I could've repositioned the holes, but annoyingly they just missed the steel. What are my options here? I really don't want to reposition the awning as it'll be well of centre, but the metal bits I have do nothing whatsoever to the steel. Are there bits out there which can cut through it? The biggest bit of steel is about 5mm thick. Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2LnMFCu
