So my parents are giving me a very generous birthday gift of $10k USD. What is the best thing for me to do with this money? I was planning on using at least some to replace my current car (worth about $3k) with a newer/ lower mileage vehicle. But figure I may still have about $5k left after that to do whatever I want with.
