I'm currently out of state for work I need to rent a car. I'm on my parents insurance in my home state . I will get CDW with my credit card but need liability insurance. I called geico who could only offer a 6 month policy and said that I would be charged a fee if I cancelled earlier. The agent could not give me an estimate on the fine. I will likely be going back in a month and a half. Has anyone cancelled insurance in a similar situation and give me some advice? I tried another agency which is charging almost double. Thanks!
