Hi guys. I know this may seem like a stupid question. I know I could do research but it always leaves me with more questions than answers. I was a temp at a company and they decided to hire me on. Everything was fine until my boss said they offer zero health insurance. Recently, I've developed very very bad, painful psoriatic arthritis. My arms wake me out of a dead sleep completely numb at the fingers but very painzful in my elbows and wrists and shoulders. I know what it is because my father and mother have it but I NEED a diagnosis and I hope theres medicine for this besides pain killers. I lose so much sleep, constantly waking up to rub my hands, sometimes its so bad I cant move so i lay there and cry. Its the most painful thing I have ever felt. I was heart broken when they said there was no insurance. I was counting down the days to making an appointment then boom, no insurance. But I have no idea what to do about where to find health insurance. Will state insurance cover the types of things Im going to need? I know how to apply for state insurance but am I better off seeking other insurance for my arthritis? Im 28 and live in Wisconsin, not sure if that matters. I dont have a lot of people to turn to so any help/advice would be great.
