I have to do some patching to cover the gaps in my ceiling where a wall was removed, I'm told it's a '2nd gen plaster' without the horizontal boards, but it has a wire mesh in the first layer. http://bit.ly/2XdzYLL tips on cutting it? I was thinking an oscillating tool very slowly to get thru the wire. I'm hoping to only do the least amount possible, then slap on drywall and mud the sh*t out of it.
