Ever since I lost my job due to job leaving to Mexico, I never trust any company. I have struggled for years and now that I am making good money again, I decided to live poor like I have in the past. The only things I splurge on are my rent, my needs sometimes and every once in a while when the wife and I go out. The reason I live poor, is because if you think about it, when you are broke you squeeze everything out of every dollar to make it to the next. But when you have money, you never think about it this way until it's too late. Even when you budget, sometimes things fall out of place.
This helps me save money and forget about it. Helps me stay on budget, specially since I have urges to spend in the past for no reason just to feel for a bit then the good feeling leaves.
I'll keep you guys updated when I reach some goals this way.
