Last July, I quit my job to change careers. I did a 4 month fellowship which turned into about 7 months total of unemployment. I ate through a good chunk of our savings and CC went as high as $5k.
But today, after paying down the credit card last month, I could finally dump a good chunk of change into savings for the first time since July. I am stoked and I just wanted to share!
Changing careers is a bitch and a half. If you’re in the middle of it or thinking about doing it, then maybe my story can encourage you.
