i'm having an issue replacing an existing electrical box that was behind a light fixture. When i removed the light, i found this kind of box laid horizontally, attached with an adapter bracket.The new light I've purchased is built for a modern square electrical box (Ledsjo from ikea) and i can't seem to get it to fit. i bought a round universal adapter, but the holes in the ikea bracket are going right into the metal adapter.I'm considering drilling a hole in the middle of the ikea bracket, because it's the only option i can see that would work, aside from tearing out the existing box, which is nailed in (two nails from the top, through the box) and dealing with the nightmare of repairing the plaster wall.Am i missing some adapter option that's available? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2IJ9VIt
