I have a dresser with dimensions 20x60x50 that I need moved from Chicago to Cleveland. I have been trying to figure out the cheapest way to accomplish this without much luck so far. I have reached out to a few "small move" moving companies but the cheapest quote I have gotten so far was about $500. The dresser is really only worth about that but I do want to keep it if possible because I really like it. One of the issues I am having is that the dresser is on the 3rd floor of my apartment and we don't have an elevator (and it's very heavy). I was thinking about getting a Uhaul or similar but even that quote was around 400ish dollars. Is this really the cheapest way I can get it moved? Thank you!
