On February 23rd 2019, I logged into my Chase online banking and found 8 Quickpay transactions that I did not authorize. I do not recognize any of the recipients who the money was transferred to. The total amount was around $8000. I called Chase immediately and filed a claim for the fraudulent transactions. By the time of my first call, there were $2000 fraudulent transactions that were still pending. However Chase did not canceled the pending transactions. The money was transferred out later. Chase opened a new checking account for me and closed my old checking account . Chase also gave me a temporary credit for the $8000 to my new opened account.

After a month, on April 2nd, Chase sent me a letter of the investigation result. The letter says that "We found that the transactions was processed correctly or was authorized." As a result, Chase are removing the temporary credit of $8000 from my account. I called Chase again and said I disagreed on the investigation result. I did not recognized the recipients and did not authorized the transactions. I asked Chase to reopen the claim and investigate again, but Chase refused to do it. I also asked Chase to investigate on the recipients but Chase refused to do so. The only thing Chase provided is the time of each fraudulent transactions and that all transactions were made through my iPhone. I also went to a Chase branch and spoke to a banker. The banker called the Chase claim department and got the same response as I got. I went to the local police station and reported this but I am not sure if that would help.

I have never experienced this situation before. I am very upset and frustrated. Is there anything else I can do?
