Just wondering what people's opinion were on the customer service and the boots in general and to share my experience. I've seen the brand mentioned here a couple times.
I bought a pair of Belleville's 790G about two years ago and used them casually around, no hiking or anything. This year, the insole decided to have a crack from one end of the boots to the other on both boots. I contacted CS mentioning I don't expect warranty (since theirs is only 1 year) but wanted information about if it was possible to resole them and the likes, where to find the soles, etc. I got a short answer, no greetings, essentially telling me they don't do it and to check online.
Am I wrong in feeling slightly pissed about this reply? Those boots go for $200 USD or so. I'd expect them to last longer than two years of casual wear and have a better customer service.
