Maybe this isn't the right subreddit, if so please let me know...but:

Recently my wife and I moved and in the process bought a home. No big deal, changed our address and so forth. Our last home we rented from my parents, but the house did not have a physical mailing address so we just used my parents' address for our mail since they lived about 200 feet away. There were no issues until we recently changed our address with USPS. Somehow the USPS decided to assume everyone moved from my parents' address instead of just the individuals listed on the change of address form (yes, my wife and I have the same last name as my parents). I have gone back to the USPS and filled out more forms, my parents have done the same to show that only my wife and I moved, but mail is still discombobulated. We regularly get my parents mail and they get ours. It's annoying, but not the end of the world, except that my parents' bills regularly come to my new address and my parents are concerned something is going to get missed. Several of their credit cards automatically changed the billing address from the USPS mistake, and even though my parents have changed them back multiple times, they revert to the wrong address the next day.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this issue? My parents have started getting everything sent electronically to ensure they don't miss bills, but my father (the dinosaur that he is) prefers paper mailings and would like to get this figured out.
