When we make meals at home (as often as possible for obvious reasons), I used to go back and get extras multiple times, just because the food was there. It was rare that I didn't finish everything off, even if I originally anticipated for the food to last for a couple of days. Yes, I know... not a super strong willpower when it comes to food.

But now, I put the food up immediately after fixing my full plate. Less chance of overeating or leaving the food out all night on accident.

Plus, now my food lasts longer, so I'm spending less on my groceries each month as a result.

When you can do something that helps your health and your wallet, I think it's silly not to do it.

What do you think? Do you have any other tips that help your health and finances at the same time?
