I am a 22 year old female from a small town in Indiana. Our local private club has a weekly treasure hunt drawing where the jackpot accumulated to 43,875 dollars.
I am in school for a graduate degree program, and am still learning about personal finance. This money will help me get out of credit card and student loan debt. I would like some advice on investing some money to optimize my winnings as well as looking into any tax breaks I may get from being a student or any other possible reason.
