Not sure if this the appropriate place to post, but, I tried making my own tortillas (as flour is way cheaper than buying them from a store) from self raising flour, oil and water, and they came out like crispy, dry flatbreads, and I don't understand what went wrong, maybe I didn't add enough oil or water? The dough seemed to be of the same consistency that bread normally is.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
