My local Kia dealership has one of those too good to be true radio ads making the rounds. I'm looking for a new car and it caught my attention, but I immediately became cynical. They say they will give you $5000 towards your new car with any trade in, no matter the year, milage or condition. Me and my 2002 $350 junker said bullshit, the sticker price probably magically goes up 5k along with it.
I called the dealer and bluntly asked what the catch was, he said the only major stipulation was that the 5k goes towards new vehicles only, no pre owned, and that even my old truck worth less than 500 on Craigslist is eligible.
I'm going by this afternoon to get more details, is there anything I should look out for?
