The floor plan shows 2 bedrooms in the first floor which we don't need. Will be making the master bedroom a living room or dining room. I will be working with someone experienced with construction/carpentry but wanted to get as much info on my own as possible.What I know so far is the support beams are going the other way in the house so not load bearing and there's plaster to deal with. Along with any wires/pipes in the walls. We wanted to open up the stairs just above the handrail to do it on the cheap for now.
