I need a new mattress ASAP. Unfortunately, I won't have enough for a quality mattress for another 4-5 months. I'll have about $400 next month to get something sooner.
What I have now: 8 year old traditional innerspring in Queen size, no topper, significant dip in the middle, creaks loudly, on the floor with protectors on both the mattress and box spring.
Me: Heavier, combination side/back sleeper, sleep hot, and I have a cat so no air mattresses.
The memory foam mattresses I tested recently seemed too hard to me, however, I might be able to handle it for a few months if necessary. The one I liked most was a latex/pocketed spring coil hybrid.
Any advice would be appreciated.
