We've moved into a house that desperately needs new toilet seats, I've bought a replacement seat and was planning on changing it whilst my husband is away as a surprise (yes, when you're busy doing up house, this kind of thing is considered a lovely surprise!).I had assumed there'd be some kind of cover that I could flick off and then there would be the top of the screw exposed, but it doesn't seem to work that way.Lid downLid upLid up close-upUnderneathEdit: Thank you all for your speedy replies! I figured I needed to hold the screw in place from the top whilst unscrewing the nut but it sounds like I'll just be able to unscrew the nut. Now to work out how to do that...! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2SRbbdH
