I’m in college and my mom makes a pretty good (in my opinion and for our area and lifestyle) living as a stylist. I always thought it was really cool how she has the relative freedom to set her own schedule, take vacations when she wants, etc. obviously she has to work hard but she seems to enjoy her job.
I like the idea of the only dynamic really being between me and my clients. I resent the thought of being under a manager’s thumb for the rest of my working life. But I know sometimes freelancing can have a negative effect on work-life balance. What do you guys think??
