I am generation Y, raised to have good grades and good to school with a good job. I am a Physical therapist yet I when I am home I still get snipped at for being someone who doesnt like “hard work.” Of course hard work in lets say my mom’s view is being out in the yard, cutting grass, weed eatting, taking care of a pool, knowing how to diagnose and fix a broken toilet. Where my view of hard work is being able to identify whats causing referral pain into the top of a patient’s foot. Id rather outsource yard work so I can do other things. It seems tough for baby boomers to reconcile we live in an information age that demands different skill sets but alas it still is among us. I was curious if others share in this?
