I need to find studs in my ceiling for a TRX anchor (so heavy duty). It's an old house and the studs in the walls are nowhere near '16" on center' more like 'we put studs where we felt like it' plus I have drilled into masonry a couple of times when hanging shelves so there seem to be places where there are no studs at all. The ceiling is popcorn and is not entirely flat. I can make out joins in the drywall sections if I look closely.Is the tiny nail method the way to go? Is there something else I can do? Should I assume that the lines where two pieces of drywall her placed would be on a beam/stud?Any advice or direction you can give me would be most appreciated.Thank you! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Tq5qIx
