Do you sometimes feel that by living “simply” you sometimes compromise your ambitions which requires you to live complex lives?

Edit number 2: I don’t think I have 100% expressed what I wanted to ask in the title. Basically this is the question : “do you think a person who is driven, ambitious and wants to “””do great things””” in the world can ever lead a simple life? (In my view, these two things tend to clash with each other) If yes, why and how, if no, why and how?”
