Maybe this is more of a rant than a question, but here goes:I've been buying Delta faucets for years. They've got a great reputation, lifetime warranty and are priced accordingly. Until about 12 months ago, I never had a problem with a single item, but the last 4 purchases I've made have been baffling:1) Poorly cast valve causing crossover between hot and cold lines.2) Sink kit with mismatched drain assembly.3) Shower trim kit that wouldn't fit the universal valve (that it specifically said it would fit)4) ... So I went to return that one, picked up another model, brought it home and discovered that the set screw they included for the valve handle is at least 2mm too small for the threaded hole in the handle and falls right through. All I want is to finish this fracking bathroom project, and Delta has foiled me at every turn, costing time and money. Has anyone else noticed a sudden change in their product quality or QC practices? I can tolerate any one of these in isolation but in aggregate it's making me question whether I shouldn't just buy cheaper stuff that has the right parts in the box! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2HLaxNY
