It is basically a re-post of https://ift.tt/2BWXT9Y where I asked for help few weeks ago and didn't get a good solution for my case.In a nutshell, I am using a 2 ton rated hydraulic jack to lift leg of robot(100kg). But the problem is the jack is leaking from between cylinder and piston as can be seen in https://ift.tt/2UcakG0. I am using about 10 jacks(different joints) and most are leaking even though all are brand new.I believe that it might be because of cheap jacks but is there something I can do other than replace all jacks. Even if there is some form of temporary solution, it will work for me. I couldn't get any form of help from college nor are there people specializing in this field in my country as far as I know. There is not much resource available here in my country so replacing seal might also be out of option (I searched but couldn't find. The seals look good though and jack is just about 2-3 months old.). via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2SEyIyI
