19 yo dude/w no marketable skills here, living in the north Kansas City MO area.
Got a job with a security company making 18/hour. Job environment is less than stellar, working a mandatory six days a week 12-8PM, had a bad run with them and am desperately in need of something new. Clearing around 2600 after tax.
I ran my expenses up pretty quickly, paying 800/mo for apartment, 600/mo (high apr) for my car, 260 for insurance, and about 4-500/mo for phone/groceries/gas, coming in at around 2,200 tops for expenses.
I'm looking to pick up a spare job in my mornings to help save a bit, and looking for a cheaper apartment/roomate to lower my cost of living. Planning on refinancing car with mother as co-signer, should be closer to 400/mo afterwards. Otherwise, I'm lost, got myself in a bit of financial trouble, have a loose plan on what to do, but I'm constantly stressed and frustrated with my lack of time. Kinda wanted to post and see if I could get any advice or recommendations, so here I am.
TL;DR: Stuck in a high paying job I hate, looking to lower my expenses and get out asap, see no clear path to do so.
