Obligatory apology for mobile formating: sorry.

My family has never been financially responsible and I want to break that cycle and do things right.

I've been living independently from them for abou 5 yrs now and have about 6.5k in savings.

The basics: I work full time as a tech and make 649 a week after taxes. I'm a part time undergrad student. I'll be an engineer in a year, I have a job set up where I'll make ~65k gross starting.

The school situation:My job pays 75% of my tuition upfront and will reimburse be the other 25% when I finish. With their support I pay ~1.2k a semester, three semesters/ year. I plan to go to grad school after next yr and then they will pay 100% tuition up to 4k a yr, so I will likley have similar oop costs.

Rent and other stuff: I share an appartment and pay 700/mo which is about as good as rent gets where I live. I pay 86 dollars for my share of utilities and internet. My phone bill is 30/mo. I pay 1400 in car insurance/yr. My health insurance, life insurance dental, retirement all comes out of my pay check pre tax.

Because I work full time and take 9-12 credits a semester I usually eat out a lot. Groceries are 50 per week and i eat out 3-4 times per week.

I am recently moving into a weird space in my career where I care about presenting myself professionally. I'm attending a lot of meetings with upper management, going to networking events out of state, participating in symposiums, and hosting stem events for other prospective stem students. I am not used to spending a lot of money on clothes/shoes/etc, but it's really apparent I'm lacking in those areas.

The idea of spending 100 dollars on shoes or pants is intimidating and I dont know if it's a reasonable thing for me to do.

Here's where I am:

Budget: 649×4=2596

After rent: 1896 After utilities, car insurance, and school: 1394 ( 5k a yr ish over 12mo) After food and gas: 944 Gym membership and therapy:884 After Throwing in miscellaneous expenses like shampoo and cat litter to make for a safe even number: 850

I drive a shitty car and it needs repair occasionally, so there is sometimes a surprise cost from 200-600 dollars.

The question: How much money is reasonable for me to spend on clothes? What should I be saving? Am I on solid footing?

I'm relatively new to posting so if you guys need anything else just ask, also thank you for reading!

Hope everyone is well.

Edit: I'm a girl
