My friend is rent to own. Contract on house. Him and owner are good friends. House is paid off. Friend owes bout 25k on contract. Owner is in a bad situation and my friend wants to buy to help him out. Has no credit really. Can the owner sign over the deed to the house then my friend get a equity loan for the 25k and pay owner back?
