Every so often i get emails from my electric company offering deals on "electricity saving" products. For a long time, they were offering a deal on the Nest thermostat.
Now they're offering 12 LED light bulbs (7.5W) and Tricklestar 7 Outlet Advanced PowerStrip for $10. supposedly, the total value of the bundle is like $60 (the power strip is $20 on amazon).
It looks like a great deal at face value, which makes me think i'm being deceived. How is my electric co offering these kinda deals? Are they taking advantage of govt incentives/subsidies?
I don't really need the lightbulbs, but i'm sorta interested in the powerstrip. Do you guys think it's worth it?
